Biographical history
Don Palmer, 1927- , was born in Calgary, Alberta. He began to play the cello at age eight, and became a well-known musician in the city. As a child he played with the Mount Royal College Baby Symphony and the Mount Royal College Junior Symphony. As an adult he has played with the Calgary Symphony Orchestra and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and taught at Mount Royal College. He also ran Ban-Joy Reprographics and was responsible for printing the newsletter of the Bach Society of Calgary. His wife's name is Joy.
