Biographical history
Dolly Francis Remackel, [ca. 1918]-2004, lived in the Children's Shelter in Calgary, Alberta. She attended Crescent Heights High School in the early 1930s, and in 1939 graduated as a nurse from the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing. She specialized in the care of patients with tuberculosis. She married Dan Brown, and they had five children, Colleen, Richard, Shelley (Sweeney), Danielle (Cournoyer), and Dan. The family lived in British Columbia.

The autograph book was brought in by Kate Reeves in March 2016, but she had no idea where it came from. It had been collected for research on the Rosedale district of Calgary.
