History
Mary Dunn, 1902-1996, was born in Hamilton, Scotland and came to Edmonton with her family in 1913. She began to play basketball in high school under J. Percy Page, was a member of the Edmonton Grads basketball team, 1922-1926, and took part in the 1924 Olympics in Paris. She worked for the Soldier Settlement Board, 1919-1921, and the Northwest Company (a subsidiary of Imperial Oil), 1921-1926. In 1926 she married Robert G. Dickson, an Imperial Oil employee, and they had four children, Mary Louise (Lang), Robert Bruce, Jean (Ormiston), and Joan. The Dicksons moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1951.
