      History

      Henry Edgar Davis, 1859-1937, was born in Coldwater, Michigan, USA. In 1881 he married Sara Ann Elizabeth Reedy, 1862-1939, and they had 11 children, John Thomas, Christmas Andrew, Charles Edgar, Martha Harriet (White), Martin Harrison, Cora Lizetta (Empey), Henry David, Walter William, Alfred Dodd, Arthur Louis and Albert Edward. In 1903 the family moved from Kansas, USA to Three Hills, Alberta, where Henry and six of his sons homesteaded. They ran a stopping house for travellers from 1905 to 1907.
