Biographical history
David Townsend, 1926- , was trained as an engineer at McGill University and was employed by the Eastern Rockies Forest Conservation Board from 1948 to 1952. He later joined the faculty of Civil Engineering at Queens University, and R. M Hardy and Associates in Edmonton, Alberta where he was manager for offshore construction in the Beaufort Sea for Gulf Oil.
