Name of creator
David Laurence Jones retired from Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) as manager of internal communications. A history graduate from Concordia University, he worked for fourteen years in the railway’s corporate archives, researching and collecting stories and anecdotes about the CPR’s rich heritage. He has contributed many historical writings to company publications and is the author of several books on the history of the railway including The Railway Beat : A Century of Canadian Pacific Police Service / David Laurence Jones. -- Markham, Ont. : Fifth House, 2014. He lives in Calgary, Alberta with his wife and daughter.
