History
Frederick Bedford Cummer, 1859-1927, moved to Calgary, Alberta from Alvinston, Ontario in 1902. He worked for both the Albertan and the Calgary Herald newspapers in the printing operations and also for Inland Press. He and his wife, Irene M. Cummer, had one son, Stanley, 1898-1982, who attended South Ward and Haultain schools.
