Scope and content
This series consists of copies of primary sources used by Charles Denney in his genealogical and historical research. Much of the material consists of photocopies of original fur-trade-era documents held at Library and Archives Canada and other archival institutions. Also included is information recorded from tombstones in cemeteries in the three Prairie Provinces, microfilmed copies of parish records from communities which had large Métis populations, and selected pre-Confederation censuses of Manitoba.
