Biographical history
Clement Robert Merrill, 1896-1973, was born in Avon, Illinois, USA and moved with his family to Yankee Valley, Alberta in 1914. Merrill moved to Calgary in 1947 and after a brief time as a photographer he was the manager of Jaffe's Book Store. He did not marry.
