History
The Chinese-Canadian Heritage Program was instigated by J. Brian Dawson, while doing research for his Master's thesis on Chinese pioneers in Alberta. It was supported by both the Calgary Chinese community and the federal government's Opportunities for Youth program. During the project Buck Doo Yee, Kim Dong, Poy Yee, Seto Gan, Mr. and Mrs. June Jay Chang (or Chong), Toe You Mah, Ook Wah Yee, King Loo, and an anonymous male were interviewed.
