Biographical history
Charles Prime completed his Royal North-West Mounted Police (RNWMP) training ca. 1909 and was stationed at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In 1910-1911 he was part of Treaty 10 payment trips to northern Saskatchewan, and from ca. 1912-1916 he was detective-sergeant of the Prince Albert division.

The fonds consists of photographs of treaty payment trips to Lac la Ronge, Ile a la Crosse and Churchill River, Saskatchewan (1910-1911); and photographs of Prince Albert RNWMP division (1909, 1910s), Regina detachment (1910s), and Prime in the crime lab at Prince Albert (1911-1914). Includes scrapbook of newsclippings of murder cases on which he worked (1912-1916).
