Biographical history
Charles A. Johnston, 1876-?, was born in Ontario and attended the Wolseley Barracks Military School at London, Ontario. He volunteered for the Yukon Field Force and served from 1898 to 1901. He settled in Bowden, Alberta where he farmed and later ran the post office. He married Annie Howard and they had at least two children, Roy and Mrs. Scott.
