Biographical history
Charles John Hodges, 1874-1954, was born in Kent, England and moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1908. He joined the City Water Works Department that year and retired in 1940. Charles served in First World War and later was a prominent sportsman. He and his wife Thirza, ?-1954, had three children, Dorothy Riley, Charles and Albert Victor, 1901-1964.
