Biographical history
Charles H. McKenzie, 1897-1980, was born in Watford, Ontario and moved to the Okotoks-High River area of Alberta in 1907 where he grew up. He received a medical degree from the University of Alberta in 1927 and immediately began practice as a physician in the Coal Branch, near Edson, Alberta. In 1928 he moved to Ituna, Saskatchewan where he remained until 1931. After further training in the USA, Charles practiced medicine for thirty years in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The records were originally donated to the Historical Society of Alberta, which later gave them to Glenbow.
