Biographical history
Caleb Jones came to Calgary, Alberta from England in 1906, with his parents and siblings. After his father returned from the First World War the family moved to Scollard, Alberta. In 1927 Caleb moved to the Thumb Hill Ranch near Dorothy, Alberta, and spent nine years there. In 1936 he took over the Hathaway place in the same area, and the following year married Chrissie Dixon, ?-1967. They had two children, Tommy and Dorothy (Dueck). In 1967 Caleb sold the ranch and retired to Drumheller.
