Manuscript on paper with coats of arms executed in true tinctures. Includes coats of arms of conquerors, monarchs and noblemen from Julius Caesar to James I. Introductory pages contain notes including lists of sheriffs of Devon under various monarchs. An Elizabethan poem in honour of the Grenville family is written on the penultimate leaf.
