        History

        The Bow Valley School Division No. 43 was formed in 1938 and consisted of five sub-divisions and 53 school districts encompassing East Coulee, Chancellor and Buffalo, Alberta. Other districts were added later: Cluny (1939), Arrowwood, Dunree and Milo (1943), and Hussar. In 1947, the division was subdivided again and in 1955 it became two new units, Taber School Division (No. 5), and Three Hills School Division (No. 60).
