Biographical history
Bird E. Howe, ?-1961, was born in Flint, Michigan and came to Canada in 1910 to a homestead south of Hanna at Parr, Alberta. He and his wife Estella had two sons, Thomas, 1914-, and Chancy, 1919-1993. They moved to the Blackie district about 1924, moved again in 1936 and in 1946 moved to the Meadowbank district, south of High River. Bird was a town councillor in High River from 1953-1955.
