Biographical history
Beverly Poersch entered nursing training at the Calgary General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta in 1964 and graduated in 1967. She worked at the General for a short time then married Ken Patton. She worked with him on their farm near Nanton and later in life did relief work at the psychiatric hospital in Claresholm and in a doctor's and veterinarian's offices in High River.
