The partnership of the Beveridge Brothers was established ca. 1907 and consisted of Thomas, Francis D. and Stephen E. Beveridge. It dealt in real estate, farm lands, ranches and market gardens. The Beveridge family came to Calgary, Alberta from Collingwood, Ontario in the 1880s. Beveridge Brothers was located at 7th Avenue and 1st Street E. By 1910 Albert C. Johnson was working for the company and by 1913 he and Thomas Beveridge had formed a separate real estate company called Beveridge and Johnson. In 1913 Beveridge and Johnson built the Johnson Block at Centre Street and 7th Avenue. Thomas rejoined Beveridge Brothers ca. 1916.
