Biographical history
Herbert Campbell "Bert" Sheppard, 1901-1999, was born on the Cottonwood Ranch near High River, Alberta and ranched on the Riverbend Ranch and TL Ranch. He later managed and was part owner of the OH (Rio Alto) Ranch. He published two books, Spitzee Days and Just About Nothing.
