        Bashford's Corner Ltd., a Calgary, Alberta antique business, was registered under the Companies Act in 1958 by Captain Christopher C. Bashford, 1928-2005, formerly of the British Army and Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians). The store, opened at 736-17th Avenue SW in 1959, specialized in English and Canadian silver, English china and old prints. Bashford was a charter member of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association, and in the 1980s sat on the Canadian Cultural Property Review Board.
