Biographical history
Audrey Andrews, after teaching for several years in the Department of English at the University of Calgary, became a freelance writer. She has published articles in NeWest Review, and book reviews in Arctic: Journal of the Arctic Institute of North America, Canadian Ethnic Studies and the Calgary Herald. In 1999 she published Be Good, Sweet Maid: The Trials of Dorothy Joudrie, an account of events leading up to Joudrie's trial for attempted murder, the trial itself and the effect of Joudrie’s trial on the life of Audrey Andrews.
