Archief F2006 - Archie Brown fonds

Archibald Hutton Brown, 1887-1993, was born in Liverpool, England, and emigrated to the USA in 1909. He was a machinist by trade, and worked in the auto industry and steel mills, and worked on the Panama Canal locks. He served with the 5th Battalion CEF during the First World War, and fought at the Somme and Ypres. After the war he settled in Calgary, Alberta. He worked at the Ogden rail yards for several years, then worked for Canada Customs for 25 years. He spent his last years in the Bow Valley Lodge. He never married.
