Biographical history
Anthony "Tony" Santopinto, 1922-2003, was born in Calgary, Alberta and attended St. Mary's High School. He was a photographer with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during the Second World War. After the war he established a career as a photographer. He worked for a number of oil companies in Calgary, among them Asamera, Pembina Resources and Imperial (Esso). He sometimes used the name Tony Santo.
