Biographical history
Anne Andruski, 1914- , was born in Opal, Alberta, one of six children of Lena Mandrusiak and Joseph Andruchiw (later Andruski). In 1932 she married William Woywitka, 1910-1972, and they had three children, Allan, 1933- , Sylvia (Schultz), 1934- , and Joan (Prowse), 1940- . Her maternal grandfather, Andrey Mandrusiak, emigrated to Alberta from the Ukraine in 1907, and her paternal grandfather, Safron Anduchiw, in 1908.
