Biographical history
Alwyn Danks was born in London, Ontario and graduated in 1907 from the University of Western Ontario. He interned at the Victoria Hospital in London, and then practiced as a doctor in Vancouver, Ymir and Salmo, British Columbia. He came to Calgary in 1911 where he practiced until his death. He was a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and of the Alberta Medical Association, and president of the Calgary Medical Society. His wife's name was Muriel.
