Biographical history
Alexander Campbell Shaw, 1857-1918, was born in Perth, Ontario. He received a degree from Trinity College and began working as a solicitor in 1880. In 1884 he was called to the Bar and practised law in Calgary, Alberta before moving to Stratford, Ontario ca. 1889. He returned to Perth ca. 1893 where he served on the local council and later retired.
