Biographical history

Winifred Fitch, 1881-1974, was born in Middlesex, England. She married Stanley William Sedgwick, an engineer, in 1907. They had no children. They moved to Calgary, Alberta before 1925. Winifred was active in the Calgary Branch of the Canadian Handicrafts Guild, serving as president in 1949. She did watercolour painting.

Archival history

These records were in the Glenbow Art Department before being transferred to the Archives in 1985.
