Biographical history
William Harry Carson was born in Desboro, Ontario. He completed his degree in medicine at the University of Toronto and practiced Timmins, Barrie, Desboro, and Southhampton. Carson volunteered for military service in 1941, ultimately serving as Registrar for the No. 3 Canadian Army General Hospital. Carson died of illness in 1945 while overseas.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of material pertaining to W.H. Carson's time of military service during WWI. Includes a photocopy of Carson's journal that records events in his life following his enlistment up until his taking on the role of Registrar for the 4th Canadian General Hospital. Photographs, including unit photos, are normally well captioned on verso.
