Robert "Rusty" Pringle, 1904-1992, and Ethel Violet "Quinn" Rushton, 1907-1994, of Calgary, Alberta took up the hobby of square dancing in the mid-1950s. They married in 1965. They were actively involved with the Banff Square Dance Institute, later known as the Alberta Square Dance Institute.
