Name of creator
A North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) Veterans Association was established in Calgary, Alberta in 1901. Colonel James Walker was the first president. The national Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Veterans Association was established in 1913-1914 and the Calgary group became affiliated with it ca. 1919. The local division holds annual meetings and social events.

The fonds consists of photographs of NWMP and RCMP veterans, royal visits and Calgary parades (1890-1975). Includes correspondence about "Operation Monument", regarding a marker (cairn) at Fort Calgary (1946-1947).
