The fonds consists of proposals, reports, and information files related to the operations and services of the Women's Centre; and scrapbooks of historical articles (1882-1976) from Calgary newspaper related to women's rights, the franchise, feminism, careers, birth control, abortion, divorce, and other women's issues.

The fonds consists of board and committee minutes, financial statements, correspondence, reports, scrapbooks, and photographs of members and events. Includes nominations files for the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards, and programs and guest books for the Women Celebrate Women dinner which commemorated the Persons Case.

The fonds consists of constitution and bylaws (1905-2002), minutes (1905-1999), annual reports (1920-1999), Pat O'brien's files (1980-1990), Wayne Perkins' files (1968-1996), publications, newsletters, newsclippings, scrapbooks, marketing documents, membership rosters, branches and branch activity documents, fundraising and capital development campaigns, financial reports, staff and personnel documents, correspondence and subject files, affiliate organizations, photographs of members and activities, and promotional films and radio broadcast.

The fonds consists of board minutes and annual reports; records relating to fundraising campaigns; admissions records and personal files of children; attendance registers, yearbooks, etc. for the school run by the Home; records of extra-curricular activities of the children; financial records and tax returns; architectural plans and other records re the construction and maintenance of buildings; personal papers of the Wood family; and extensive photographs of the children, staff and activities of the Home. Also included is research material, correspondence, reminiscences, photographs and newspaper clippings acquired during the writing and publishing of a book, "Children of the Storm - The Story of Wood's Christian Home" by Grace Elsaesser.

• The fonds consists of architectural plans for approximately 100 buildings, and correspondence, specifications, contracts, tenders and account book related to his architectural work. (There are no plans for the Grain Exchange.)
