Series contains architectural drawings documenting 138 of William Grierson’s projects spanning the years 1961 to 1999. The drawings are largely originals but also include some print reproductions. The drawings include preliminary drawings, design development drawings, and working drawings for both proposed and built projects. Among the projects represented in the series are Firstbrook cottage (1962), Firstbrook residence Old George Place (1964), Ferguson cottage Little Bear Lake (1965), Table Rock (1967), Northwood Pulp and Timber Office (1977, 1981), 33 Astley Avenue (1979-1984), Alterations to Matthews country house (1981), Lowther Avenue coach house (1983), Noranda Hemlo Mine Office (1983), Additions and alterations for Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson (1984), Rankin country house (1989), Northwest Pine Island (1991), Jacklin Island (1995), Poplar Hill (1996), Alterations to 23 Rosedale Road (1996), and Spears cottage (1997). The two graphic materials are copies of the Lakefield College School coat of arms, which were maintained by Grierson with the project’s architectural drawings. Joan Grierson is listed as project architect for Spears Cottage and Alterations to 157 Albert Street.
