Biographical history

The Petroleum History Society was incorporated in Alberta in 1985 by a group of industry veterans, historians and archivists who had managed the Petroleum Industry Oral History Project, Phase I. The Society has several luncheon meetings with speakers each year, publishes a newsletter, consults with other affilated societies, has an awards program, conducts historical tours, and has initiated several other projects such as the Petroleum Industry Oral History Project, Phase II.

MacKay, Ian Clarke/Monica Field, Norman Lussier, Robert Bott, Frank Dabbs, David Mitchell, and Craig Lamb.
