Name of creator
Mike Andriaschuk, 1890-1968, was born in the Ukraine and came to Canada to work for the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) in the Crowsnest Pass area of Alberta. In 1922 he began working as a coal miner at Bankhead, and later worked at Brazeau Collieries. He came to Calgary in 1924 and worked for Iron Works until his retirement in 1960.
