In 1986 the Glenbow Archives hired Catherine Valestuk to do a series of interviews about the history of various Alberta labour organizations. During the project she interviewed: Jake Austin (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees); Art Sick (Projectionists Union), 1916-2009; Noel Butlin (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers); Jim Brown and John Credico (Teamsters Union); Robert Pearson (Machinists Union); Ed Smith and Orville Fletcher (Carpenters Union); Della Pearn (Graphic Communications Union); Gordon Stobbe (Alberta Prints-Media Union); Andy Gardiner (Plumbers Union); Jim McLeod (United Transportation Union); Joe Bakus (Elevator Constructors Union); and Carl Victor (Bricklayers Union).
