Biographical history

Keoma Ladies Aid Society began in Keoma, Alberta about 1916 as a Red Cross affiliate. The members made knitted items for overseas troops, and after the war engaged in many social activities. For a time the group was affiliated with the United Farm Women of Alberta (UFWA). After the Second World War the group continued as a social and charitable group.
