Biographical history
John Herbert Jamieson, 1882-1948, was born in Cloverhill, New Brunswick and moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1906. He operated the Jamieson Agency which dealt in real estate and insurance. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Loyal Orange Lodge, and the Calgary Real Estate Board. He married Harriet S. Logan, 1883-1973. Harriet was born in Musquodobit Harbour, Nova Scotia and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She was very active in musical circles and was an Honorary Life Member of the Progressive Conservative Association.
