Biographical history
Catherine Neil, was born in Scotland, and emigrated to Grassy Lake, Alberta in 1905. That same year she married James Neil who immigrated to Canada from Scotland ca. 1901. They had four children, Jean, Flora, Jennie and John. They established a sheep ranch called Cumbrae Ranch near Burdett.
