Consists of a black gown with wide gold braid, and a mortarboard cap with a gold tassel and no braid.
The three convocation scarves are made of velvet with a large round University of Calgary crest badge on the left side at chest level. The badges show the UofC crest in the middle, surrounded by a white circle bearing the words "The University of Calgary" in black letters. Each scarf is in a distinctive colour. There are labels at the inside neck which indicate which Faculty the scarf is for.
