Consists of one "Platoon Roll Book" notebook marked "I. Section, 20th Sqdn. M.G.C." and likely dates from Cummer's command in Palestine. The book records information about soldiers, horses and mules in his unit.

Series consists of one cavalry ledger titled "Descriptive Roll: Horses" that has been modified for use as a scrapbook for clippings related to the progress of WWI. Scrapbook has some annotation and the first page has concealed written text related to the description of regimental horses. Also includes several items of loose clippings from both The Daily Graphic, and The Daily Mail for November 10, 1914.
