Fonds consists of letters from family and friends; memorabilia; material relating to the Ranchmen's Club; diary, 1906-1913, written by Katherine Ballentine Coutts (1854-1929), G.B. Coutts's mother, in the same volume with text on legal matters which is in a different and unidentified hand, possibly that of John B. Coutts, G.B. Coutts's father; and letters and newsclippings removed from books donated to the University of Calgary Library from G.B. Coutts's book collection.

Fonds consists of archival material from the Bob Gibson Collection of Speculative Fiction, primarily the lists and indexes to the over 35,000 books, periodicals and handmade anthologies B. Gibson collected over his lifetime, including index cards in four large (57 cm x 12 cm) hand-made wooden file boxes. Also includes correspondence with speculative fiction publishers, newsclippings, artefacts (writing implements and artist's tools), and material relating to Mildred Gibson including a folder of pencil sketches and watercolours, many signed W.H. Bos.
