Cathcart, John George "Red"Fonds consists of material related to the experience of James Reid (and to a lesser extent his brother John) while in Canada leading up to WWI, throughout Reid's time of service for the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the war, and then for some years after the war recording Reid's life in Calgary, Alberta.
