Collection primarily consists of research material relating to C.W. Fullerton's 1985 University of Calgary doctoral dissertation George Stewart, Jr.: nineteenth century man of letters including correspondence, works by and about George Stewart, Jr., photographs, and notes. Also includes research materials for papers on Matthew Arnold and other miscellaneous items of academic interest.

Fonds consists of architectural drawings, photographs, correspondence, minutes, reports, specifications, articles, awards, and other records documenting the architectural career of Peter Hemingway from 1956 to 1982. The majority of the fonds consists of project records, including drawings, textual files, and photographs, though there is also a small volume of office files (general correspondence, a project portfolio, and an organizational chart), as well as several files documenting Hemingway’s professional activities as an advocate of Prairie architecture through talks and articles. The fonds documents over 200 projects, largely in the Edmonton area, including Coronation Pool, Central Pentecostal Tabernacle, Edmonton Inn, Stanley Building, Johnstone Walker Store, and Muttart Conservatory, as well as several notable projects outside of Edmonton, including Market Square Kitchener, Yellowknife Courthouse, and Calgary’s Chinook Shopping Centre. There are four series in the fonds: 1. Professional records; 2. Office records; 3. Project records; 4. Additional donations.

Fonds consists of calendars (1956-1967); Library Building Committee records including architectural plans (1960-1962?); pamphlets for closing excercises, convocations and admission ceremonies (1948-1965); UAC Conference on Higher Education or "the liberal Arts and Sciences" records (1961-1962); University Library annual reports (1957-1965); President's report (1965-1966); campus telephone directories (1963-1965); a volume of student essays called "Focus: a UAC Student Review" (1963); Universities Coordinating Council records (1964-1966); and Principal's office memos including reference to the Ad hoc Committee to Consider some Aspects of the Relationships between the Campuses of the University of Alberta in Edmonton and Calgary (1961).

Compositions represented include among others Lustro (a triptych comprising Divan i Shams i Tabriz, Music for the Morning of the World and Beyond the Great Gate of Light), Son of Heldenleben, Canzoni for Prisoners, Minnelieder, Sappho, Gita, Requiems for the Party Girl (from Patria II), television opera Loving, The darkly splendid earth, The falcon's trumpet, Gitanjali and Music for a Montreal solstice. Also includes programs, brochures, pamphlets, posters, publicity, reviews, articles and other newsclippings relating to R.M. Schafer and/or his work and lectures, workshops and symposia in which he participated.

Fonds consists of letters to D. Dudley, chiefly from Alfred Leo Duggan, British novelist, and from Grace Duggan, Marcella _____, Evelyn Waugh and Laura Duggan. Also includes letter from A. L. There are over 800 projects represented in the fonds, including many of the firm’s residential, commercial, and educational buildings both in Vancouver and more broadly across B.C. and the rest of Canada. The fonds is divided into two series: 1. Project records and 2. Additional donations. Series 1. Project records is divided into 7 subseries: 1. Banks - drawings; 2.
