Includes: manuscripts and published poems by, and correspondence with, Rienzi Crusz; correspondence (including email) with and poems by many other Canadian poets such as Henri Beissel, Anne Cimon, Chris Faiers, Ralph Gustavson, David Helwig, Susan Ioannou, Irving Layton, Seymour Mayne and Sharon H. Nelson; interviews by M. Orbach with Sharon H. Nelson and Artie Gold; broadsides by Mavis Jones, John Newlove, Jay Rugesky, Fred Wah and Dale Zieroth; publishers' press releases; reading notices; bookmarks and book wraps; poem cards; and miscellaneous items removed from books.

Collection consists of photographs of geologic formations and topographic features; native peoples; northern communities; logging, mining, fishing and whaling activities; survey field parties; and miscellaneous subjects including some of U.S. Geologic Survey offices and staff. Most photographs were taken in Alaska, but also represented are the Yukon, Virginia, Maryland and Texas. Texas photographs are of oil fields and refineries, ca. 1917. Most photographs are dated and include descriptive captions. Photographs received in albums but removed for conservation purposes.

Collection consists of material relating to W.O. Mitchell's term as writer-in-residence for Winnipeg School Division No. 1, September 15, 1974 - November 30, 1974. Includes samples of student papers using "Mitchell's messy method of creative writing"; professional materials consisting of videotapes of seminars on creative writing for teachers; presentations for elementary, junior high and senior high students consisting of videotapes of the presentations and questions from the students; audio and video recordings of readings by W.O. Mitchell from his own work; and audio and video recordings of W.O. Mitchell discussing theme and character in several of his own works. Textual records consist of samples of student papers, listing of the audio and video recordings and bibliography of related materials collected in a kit for use by schools in Winnipeg School Division No. 1 as well as two scrapbooks containing articles and photographs documenting W.O. Mitchell's work for the shool division. Also includes material relating to the seventy-fifth convocation of Brandon University, Brandon, Manitoba, held November 9, 1974, at which Paul Hiebert, James Gray and W.O. Mitchell received honorary doctorates, particularly an audio tape of a symposium on creative writing by the three writers moderated by Brandon University chancellor Stanley Knowles, as well as photographs and newsclippings.

Collection consists of manuscripts of Illingworth Kerr's autobiography Paint and circumstances including research material; published works illustrated by I. Kerr; Christmas cards by I. Kerr; exhibition catalogues of I. Kerr's work written by G. Snyder; photographs and slides of I. Kerr's art; photographs of landscapes, animals, etc. used as studies for I. Kerr's paintings; Kerr family photographs; works on I. Kerr; slides of John Snow's art; articles and other works by G. Snyder; clippings, photographs, slides, exhibition catalogues and brochures relating to other artists including R.F.M. McInnis, Kathryn Youngs, Louis de Niverville, Jack Shadbolt and Ken Christopher; and miscellaneous.

Collection primarily consists of research material relating to C.W. Fullerton's 1985 University of Calgary doctoral dissertation George Stewart, Jr.: nineteenth century man of letters including correspondence, works by and about George Stewart, Jr., photographs, and notes. Also includes research materials for papers on Matthew Arnold and other miscellaneous items of academic interest.

Collection consists of autograph albums. Some autographs are illustrated and several contain locks of hair. Holograph.

Fonds consists of letters to D. Dudley, chiefly from Alfred Leo Duggan, British novelist, and from Grace Duggan, Marcella _____, Evelyn Waugh and Laura Duggan. Also includes letter from A. L. Duggan to Ambrose Dudley; and newsclippings of reviews of A. L. Duggan's novels and of a memoir by E. Waugh (Spectator, July 10, 1964)

Collection consists of one album containing 529 autographs from leading 19th century figures, chiefly British, roughly separated into the sections of political figures, musicians, literary figures, visual artists, religious figures, performing artists, legal professionals, medical professionals, scientists, and philanthropists. The collection consists of 122 black and white photographs with a subject range that covers the Spanish Civil War, the German Air Force, the German invasion of Poland, and the war in Italy. Photos 1-46 are 8x10. Subsequent photos are 5x7.
