Series consists of music sketches and scores composed by Malcolm Forsyth including instrumental and solo parts, working scores, full scores, master scores, study scores, revisions, vocal and choral scores, transparencies for scores and parts, and piano reductions. Some scores are published, and some are annotated. Also consists of program of performance notes, planning materials and notes, correspondence related to particular works, and libretto.

Series consists of records from an interdisciplinary research project into the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. The project drew on anthropological, historical, psychological and sociological perspectives by exploring the Stampede as an urban ritual, one that played a pivotal role in the city’s identity on a national and international stage. The study did not proceed beyond the preliminary stages, but Konrad did succeed in collecting a body of secondary research to support any future endeavours. Records include reports to granting bodies, correspondence with the Stampede Board clearing the observation phase of the project, survey instruments and reports undertaken by the Stampede Board to gather their own data on the success of the event, research reports from two individuals tasked with studying the Stampede “on-the-ground,” and newsclippings tied to the impact of the Stampede on the city.
