Collection consists of material relating to the Dieppe raid. Mellor's book Forgotten heroes : the Canadians at Dieppe; and miscellaneous material.

The fonds consists of black and white photographs that predominantly depict Canadian action during WWI. Captions on the verso of photographs stamped “Canadian Official War Photograph” are likely transcribed from a print index at Library and Archives Canada.

Material consists of print-based propaganda produced during WWI in Italy. Much of the later dated propaganda in this collection is government or army ("Armata") produced through Italy's "Service P" initiative. Some of the material bears marks of previous ownership by way of the stamped initials, "A.T.".

The collection consists of 122 black and white photographs with a subject range that covers the Spanish Civil War, the German Air Force, the German invasion of Poland, and the war in Italy. Photos 1-46 are 8x10. Subsequent photos are 5x7.

Collection has been artificially created by combining four bookplate accessions.

Consists of a bound book of original letters and telegrams solicited by the Vancouver Sun on the occasion of the Sun presenting a painting of President Warren G. Harding in Stanley Park, Vancouver on July 26th, 1923. Harding's visit was the first visit of an American President to Canada. The letters and telegrams are expressions of goodwill between the two countries for friendship and peace.

The letters and telegrams received by the Vancouver Sun are from the Prime Minister of Canada (William Lyon Mackenzie King), governors of states, premiers of provinces, American and Canadian newspapers and universities.
