The collection consists of one three ring binder with 19 double-sided pages in plastic sleeves and 13 single-sided pages taken from a photo album and placed in the three ring binder. At the end of the binder there is a single plastic sleeve with 2 inserts relating to an Belgian individual who died in Buchenwald. The collection also contains a certificate from the offices of Adolf Hitler, received by Gertrud Lessman and accompanied by a large photo.
Sans titreAccession consists predominantly of photographs related to Hay's time of service during WWII. The photographs capture the activities of R.C.A.F. No. 403 (Wolf) Squadron in action in different areas of the war, including Belgium, Holland, France, and England. Of particular interest are images taken during Operation Overlord depicting Caen, France, and the Juno Beach landing. Most of the photographs are originals; roughly half of them are captioned.
Also includes a small amount of clippings, and military service records.

The scrapbook was kept by Sidney Kaye and includes mementos, sketches and remembrances of his time at the Marlag und Milag prisoner-of-war camp.

Fonds consists of a three volume transcript of an original diary by Ithel Davies. The diary describes his experiences during World War One as a service member of the British Expeditionary Forces and is notable for its intimate account of the Gallipoli Campaign and the Battle of the Somme. Diary transcriptions have been bound and supplemented by the donor with maps, photocopied photographs, and relevant transcribed correspondence.
