• Correspondence regarding G. Ryga's work, M. Cook's work, the Cook's rental of the Ryga's house in Summerland, B.C., for the winter of 1976-77, news of mutual acquaintances, and personal and family matters.

• File consists of notes, first draft, revised first draft, additional revised pages and final (?) version of M. Cook's two hour adaptation of George Ryga's stage play for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio, produced by John Juliani and broadcast on Arts National, June 1991. Item 2 includes carbon copies of p. 1-2.

• File consists of M. Cook's proposal for "a dramatic treatment on the work and ideology of George Ryga", preliminary notes and a copy of G. Ryga's radio play A letter to my son recorded November 29 - December 3, 1982, by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Vancouver. Item 1 is dated April 20, 1988. The radio play was tentatively titled Remembering George and was broadcast on CBC's Morningside with the title Artist in resistance : a tribute to George Ryga.
